Today, Mark Curnutte raised the question of the Bengals impending free agents. Personally, I'd think he'd talk more about a very winnable game against the 49ers. But, realistically, we're already thinking about next year anyway. And we might as well start with our unrestricted free agents.

We got caught with our pants down in turns of LBs this year, and these three seem like pros we could hold onto. And they're in the system, so they'll provide some much-needed consistency.

A very important cog in our defense. The question here is what will it cost?

I wouldn't mind keeping Justin Smith, but I don't think that's a good value. He's going to cost more than he's worth. Heck, we're paying him more than he's worth this year, in terms of on-field production.
